About Anthony dibartolomeo, pmhnp-BC

You don’t have to carry this all on your own.

I am a Boston-based board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing therapy and medication management for adults, young adults, and couples. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also have a strong focus on LGBTQ+ mental health, particularly supporting gay men around intimacy, self-esteem, communication, and relational patterns.

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and individualized. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, we work together to understand what’s contributing to your symptoms, identify your goals, and develop a plan that supports both short-term relief and long-term growth. Medication, when used, is approached carefully and intentionally—always as part of a larger therapeutic conversation.

I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care. Whether you’re seeking symptom relief, deeper self-understanding, or support through change, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

The fact that you are here speaks to your strength.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is pause and acknowledge that something feels heavy. Being here isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s a quiet act of courage. It mean’s you’re willing to look inward, to ask meaningful questions, and to consider that you don’t have to carry everything alone. In this space, we move thoughtfully and compassionately, making room for both honesty and hope.

Therapy and medication management with me is…

  •  I take time to really understand your experiences, patterns, and goals rather than rushing to conclusions. Therapy and medication decisions are made with careful consideration of how they affect your whole life.

  • We work as a team. Your preferences, feedback, and lived experience guide both the therapy process and any medication adjustments.

  • Sessions have direction and purpose, with clear goals and practical tools you can use between appointments. Medication plans are organized, monitored, and adjusted thoughtfully.

  • The goal isn’t just symptom relief, but helping you build insight, skills, and confidence so you feel more in control of your mental health long term.
